Prakash Jha in legal tangle for Aashram 2 as Karni Sena Serves Notice for hurting religious sentiments
It seems that the fringe elements like Karni Sena have found out yet another reason to make headlines in the media. After the film Laxxmi Bomb which has been renamed as Laxmi, we now hear the filmmaker Prakash Jha on the receiving end. The filmmaker has now got the legal notice from the said fringe group asking to shun his project – Aashram 2 as it has somewhere is hurting the religious sentiments of their community thus giving a bad name as well. As per reports, the officer bearers of the outfit has sent the filmmaker the legal notice.
In their notice, they claimed that Prakash Jha is trying to target the image of the religion and its ancient belief and tradition and tarnish the same. The people behind sending him the legal notice include Surjeet Singh, and Pradesh Sangathan Mahamantri who are behind the same. In their notice, they have claimed that Bobby Deol who plays the self-declared god man in the series is trying to create a bad image of the guru and Ashrama in the name of entertainment.
They claimed that the web series is playing a phoney godman and that he has received a bad name audience. Now, the outfit is demanding that since the damage is already done with the first knowledge of Aashram. However, with the second part coming they have gained the audacity to come out with the same.
