Prabhas, Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush to have its world premiere at the Tribeca Festival
Prabhas, Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush is one of the most awaited Indian films of 2023, And now the film is set to have its world premiere at the 2023 edition of the Tribeca Film Festival, which is taking place from June 7-18th. The movie will be screened under the ‘Escape From Tribeca’ section.
In an instagram post, actor Prabhas who is playing the main lead in the film, also revealed the film will have its world premiere on 13 June, just three days before it’s official theatrical release in India and globally on 16 June.
“Looking forward to #Adipurush being premiered at the #TribecaFestival on June 13th,” the Baahubali star wrote alongside the movie’s official poster.

“Reimagining the epic Indian poem ‘Ramayana’, the big-budgeted visual feast Adipurush tells the tale of a prince on a mission to rescue his wife from a ten-headed demon overlord,” read the synopsis of “Adipurush” as per the website.
Director Om Raut also took to social media to share the news of Adipurush’ world premiere and wrote, “Beyond Excited and Honored! Adipurush, the epic saga of courage and devotion, is set to make its world premiere at the prestigious #TribecaFestival on the 13th of June in New York”

Sharing his excitement at Adipurush’ world premiere at Tribeca Film Festival, Prabhas said in his media statement, “I am honored that Adipurush will have its World Premiere At The Tribeca Festival, New York. It’s an absolute privilege to be a part of a project that mirrors the ethos of our nation. To see our Indian films, especially one that is so close to me, Adipurush, reach the global stage makes me extremely proud not only as an actor but as an Indian too. I look forward to seeing the audience’s response at Tribeca.”
Made on a massive budget of Rs. 500 crores, Adipurush is a mythological drama based on the epic Ramayana. The film features Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh in lead roles. It will see Prabhas playing the role of Lord Rama and Saif Ali Khan as Ravana.
