Pooja Sawant is an actress born in Mumbai on 25th January 1990. SHe is an actress who often appears in Marathi and Hindi films. She was born and brought up in Mumbai City, while she did her schooling from Balmohan Vidyamandir, and later graduated from SIWS College of Science and Commerce. Since childhood she was fond of dancing, hence she appeared in the Sony TV show called Boogie Woogie of Javed Jeffery and his friends. Once she completed her studies, she went on to enter into small screen appearing in a couple of TV shows and reality TV.

Her debut in acting came with a Marathi movie called Kshanbhar Vishranti in the year 2010, and since then it was no looking back for her. She did a number of films like Aata Ga Baya, Zhakaas, Zhakaas, Satrangi Re, Jenny, Navra Maza Bhavra, Poshter Boyz, Gondan, Sanngto Aika, Sata Lota Pan Sagla Khota, Nilkanth Master, Daagdi Chaawl, Vrundavan, Cheater, Love Express, Bhetli Tu Punha, and Lapachapi to name them all. Her debut in B Town will be seen with the Vidhyut Jammwal starrer movie Junglee releasing in April 2019.

She has also appeared in a number of TV shows including Eka Peksha Ek Jodicha Mamla as Contestant appeared On Zee Marathi, Jallosh Suvarnayugacha at Colors Marathi, and Wajale Ki Bara Anchor aired on Zee Talkies. She first came on TV in a Sony TV show as a contestant on Boogie Woogie. Talking about her personal life, she is very much single and not ready to mingle as she is focussing in her career only. Talking about the awards, she has bagged Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award for her film Lapachhapi, which was released in the year 2017.
