Anjali Patil is a National award winner and will soon be seen in Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra’s ‘Mirzya’ in a very pivotal role.
While the film seems to approaching it’s release Anjali is busy representing India in Zurich. This is no contest but an international gathering of audience and artists coming together for Rumi’s poems. Rumi was a very famous poet in the last century. Amongst this gathering of would be presenting some of Rumi’s poems in English and some in French.. Valentin Chappot who is a Swiss music composer will b playing live piano with this presentations. It is about the conversations between the music and Rumi’s words, a total experience of love.
Anjali says that ” Audience will also be participating so it becomes an immersive experience for them. Audience would not have only safe viewing of the performance as they would be asked to participate in the piece. Love is never safe and so would be the experience of it. One has to enter the river rather than staying on the edge”.
