The PM Modi Biopic seems to be in a great debate. But the makers now have the good news as the Censor Board has finally cleared the film with U certificate and the film is now all set to hit the screens tomorrow on 11th April 2019. The director of the film, Omung Kumar has shared the news in the media telling that the film has bagged U Certificate from the CBFC and it will be releasing tomorrow with great fervor and spirit.
The producer released a statement with all happiness stating that the film has now bagged U Certificate along with getting a clean chit from the Supreme Court as well that has rejected the plea to stop the film in the screens. He said that he and his team are happy to see the release. He then said he is grateful to everyone who has supported the film and prayed for it. Earlier the movie was slated to hit the screens on 5th April, but as it was yet to get the clearance from Censor Board, hence there was a delay for a week.
The film was alleged with tags like propaganda movie by the opposition and others as it was releasing just before the general elections, which are commencing from 11th April and ending on 19th May. The makers are now calling the U certificate from the CBFC a victory as they say that the final hurdle is clear and now they are free to release the movie. The film is based on the life and the struggle of PM Modi and it has Vivek Oberoi in the lead role, while the actors like Boman Irani, Darshan Kumar, Barkha Bisht, Zarina Wahab, and Manoj Joshi to name a few are seen in the lead and supporting roles.
