Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu ‘s mother died on Wednesday at age 70 due to age sickness. According to reports, the actor’s mother Indira Devi was not keeping well for the last few weeks and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital. Further reports stated that he was kept on a ventilator before he died.
Mahesh Babu ’s mother passed away at 4 am, in Hyderabad. Sharing the heartbreaking news, the family shared a statement that read, “The mother of Superstar Mahesh Babu and wife of Superstar Krishna, Shri Ghattamaneni Indira Devi, passed away this morning. Her body will be available for visitors to view at the Padmalaya studio starting at 9:00 AM today, and after that, the final rites will be carried out at Mahaprasthan. #IndiraDevi.”
Indira Ji’s daughter Manjula take her Instagram to handle and wrote, “Dear Mom, You are my first Guru, my foundation and my heart. Your love has been my protection.You are the biggest influence in my life. My mom knew only giving, giving, giving all through her life and did not ask anything for herself. There has not been a single day in our childhood where we missed her presence. She took care of all our needs in her usual selfless loving way.”

Mahesh Babu and his father Krishna have been calmed by family and friends. Indira Devi’s mortal remains will be preserved at Padmalaya Studios for ceremonial purposes, and today at Mahaprasthan, her final rituals will be performed.
Mahesh Babu, a celebrity, has had a difficult year due to the death of his older brother, actor Ghattamaneni Ramesh Babu, in January 2022. Due to problems with his liver, the actor passed away at the age of 56. The Sarkaru Vaari Paata actor and Ramesh Babu were good friends, and the two of them even appeared together onscreen in movies like Needa and Bazaar Rowdy.
