Pirated Site TamilRockers Leaks Keerthy Suresh’s Penguin Online
The popular site TamilRockers known to leak all the latest releases from Bollywood and the South Indian films is back in the news once again. This time for leaking the film Penguin by Keerthy Suresh. The film was released on OTT and has been leaked online by the said portal. The makers of the film skipped the theatrical release for the obvious reasons but soon after getting its digital premiere on Friday at Amazon Prime Video at 12 am, the site leaked the film on the said portal.
As fans were watching the movie on OTT early this morning, they were seen switching to the online version leaked by TamilRocker. Interestingly, the HD version of the film seems to have come on the said website and it came just a few hours after its release on Amazon Prime. This made the makers upset about it as their film was getting good reviews both from the critics and audience. There seems to be speculation that the makers are now planning to sue the portal.
This is not the first time when the portal has leaked any film. They have been doing so for the past many months releasing films like Badla, Kabir Singh, Good Newwz, and many south Indian films as well. This has hampered the collection of the films in a big way. Talking about the movie Penguin, it is directed by Eashvar Karthic who has done his debut in direction with this film. While it is a story of a pregnant mother who goes out for a holiday to find out her lost son. The film was supposed to release in May but with the COVID 19 outbreak, it got its OTT release.
