Last Friday it was a double delight for the audience in the form of Pink and Raaz Reboot though both the movies didn’t prove out to be a delight at the box office for the low collection. Let’s talk about the film Pink. Well, in some ways the movie has managed to emerge out as a surprise in terms of collection as it has beaten up the film like A Flying Jatt, Baar Baar Dekho, Akira and Freaky Ali.
Despite being an average runner over the box office, the film starring Big B has done a decent business. As per the reports, the first week box office collection for Pink tolled to around 35.91 crores, which is actually better than the earlier Big B movies released this year including Wazir and TE3N at the box office. Yet defying the number of odds in its way, the film has managed to secure a decent collection thanks to the word of mouth buzz that has helped the film in some ways or the other.
The next film is Raaz Reboot which features Emraan Hashmi and Kriti Kharbanda in the key roles. Well, the film failed to impress the audience and so the box office of the movie was seen hampered. Thanks to the competition it has faced from the films like Pink, RR continued to go down in a big way. As per reports, the first week box office collection for Raaz Reboot tolled to around 26.73 crores, which is away behind Pink.
The courtroom drama has bagged the score leading from the Raaz Reboot in a big way, however, with the advent of the musical drama starring Riteish Deshmukh like Banjo one cannot expect much of the response from these two movies now. Both Pink and Raaz Reboot is likely to score less over the box office for obvious reasons.
