The movie has easily impressed a good among of people considering its simple story; power packed performances by all the three actors in the lead role. Right from the first day to the first weekend and now the passage of first week, the collection has been steady.

As per reports, the first week box office collection of Piku is around 40 crores, which is indeed a decent figure. The other released movie starring Sunny Leone and Ram Kapoor called Kuch Kuch Locha Hai failed to give any competition, thanks to the weak content found on the film to dull performances of the lead actors. Well, with skin shows, you can barely attract masses and what matters are the rich content, which Piku can prove.
