Aamir Khan who is busy gearing up for his upcoming film Dangal seems to be making news every passing day. Firstly, his arrival in Ludhiana made the news, which followed by the first look poster of the film, which he shared on his Twitter Handle at the micrblogging site and now when he meets the Phogat sisters on the sets of Dangal in the said city. Yes the Phogat sisters who are the wrestling champions called Geeta Phogat and Babita Phogat were seen meeting Mr. Perfectionist – Aamir Khan. The film is a biopic based on the life of the wrestler called Mahavir Singh Phogat who trained their daughters for the wrestling championship.
The two sisters met Aamir Khan along with Sakshi Tanwar who is playing the wife of the wrestler in the film. The film showcases the life of these two sisters and their struggle to win the wrestling championship. Its noteworthy that Geeta Phogat won her first ever gold medal in the women’s championship in the category of 55 kg freestyle at the Commonwealth Games held in 2010 in the National Capital. The film is expected to hit the theatres in Christmas 2016 as Aamir Khan simply loves this season and all his releases were made during this time only.
