After a much buzz and noise, the movie Phantom has released today. The film starring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif, however, was seen starting up an average note for the morning shows. However, as the shows entered into the after and evening ones, there was certain amount of increment. The occupancy of 25 percent in the morning seemed turning to 70-80 percent at the metropolitan cities like Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Pune, Bangalore, etc. However, Gujarat being found in the unrest were seen the lowest occupancy for the film. As per reports, the first day box office collection for Phantom tolled to around 6 crores, which is actually an okay figure.
The trade pundits and market experts are foreseeing a good surge in the coming days. Considering the festival of Raksha Bandhan this Saturday, most of the people would be witnessing a two day long weekend, which will certainly going to make a difference for the film. As it is a Kabir Khan film, there are loads of expectation, which has created a decent amount of buzz in the media. In fact, the response for Saif Ali Khan’s film has been much better than the earlier film he did last year in the form of Happy Ending with IIena D Cruz and Govinda. The other film- Kaun Kitne Paani Mein released the same day as much less to give the audience.
