Parvathy’s Take off Vs. Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai : What’s the Verdict

Parvathy’s Take off Vs. Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai
Parvathy’s Take off Vs. Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai

There are some stories that hit hard on you while at times you find some that may not have that kind of impact for a longer run. Well, if you talk about the Malayalam film called the Take Off, which has Parvathy, Kunchacko Boban, and Fahadh Faasil, it has some impact over us as it is inspired by some real-time instance that were recorded in 2014. On the other side, we have the film starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif that is also based on a similar story that makes us compare the two in a big way. Though one may find too many differences between the two, yes one can see some similarities.

Story of the film
The story of the film Take Off moves around a pregnant nurse who seems to be dealing with a debt and then seen getting remarried for which she has to explain while getting stranded in a country where we look at a brutal civil war is raging. Besides, for Tiger Zinda Hai, we have a story of Indian nurses becoming the hostage by a terror group, which is being recuse by a RAW agent. On the other side, we have the film Take Off with ladies in the similar conditions but having their passports. The film only talks about the complex issue that comes along with simple storytelling things. This is where the two film differs a lot.
Real Life Events vs. Fierce Action Sequences
The 46 Indian nurses are under the hostage of ISIS in 2014, and we saw the then-Indian ambassador Ajay Kumar, minister of external affairs, Sushma Swaraj and the then CM Oommen Chandy who had worked together to rescue the nurses. That soon become the plot of the film TZH. However, the fierce action was not seen in settling the case, while on the otherwise, we have a real story of a pregnant lady struggling and surviving against all the odds with her husband. No action, only reality that seemed to have worked in this film.
Nuanced writing vs melodrama
Talking about the nuances, to add life to a war zone and the emotions, which the people just feel when they end up seeing their loved ones getting victimised is certainly not that easy. Thus the film Take Off was seen success in bringing this over the screen just because of the care we look at the writers taking it off for portraying each character. On the other side, we have melodrama in the story of the nurses being made hostage and the way they are being rescued by the Indian RAW Agent.
Performance Vs. Fan Following
If you look at the two movies, the way the actors have performed in one that brought the people and in the other you have the occupancy in the screens that worked out due to fan following. The lead actors in the film Take Off have given stellar performances, which brought the audience to catch the film. Even the small kid that has played the character in the film seemed impressive. Now if you compare this film with TZ, it has stars like Salman and Katrina who all have less to talk about performance as they know they have a huge fan following to make their films a big hit.
Wrapping up
The fact is there is no comparison between a commercial film of Bhai with all the Bollywood spice to a hard-hitting movie like Take Off, which gives the real idea of how such issues of hostages and rescue mission are dealt and sorted out. Any sensible mind would discard such films made with masala magic and prefer the one with reality.
