The teaser for the highly-anticipated comedy film Dream Girl 2, directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, is finally out. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday in key roles. The teaser shows Khurrana reprising his role as Pooja, a small-town boy who becomes a popular female voice actor. Panday plays a new character named Pari, who is also a voice actor. The teaser is full of humor and hints at a possible love triangle between Pooja, Pari, and a third character. Ananya Panday has shared a new promo for her upcoming film Dream Girl 2, in which she can be seen complaining to her father, actor Chunky Panday, about Ayushmann Khurrana’s character Pooja. Chunky promises to speak to Balaji Telefilms, but then pretends to dial a number as Ananya leaves the room. However, he ends up saying his popular dialogue, “I’m joking,” and dials Pooja instead.
The promo then cuts to a scene of Chunky flirting with Pooja, who is played by Khurrana. The two of them exchange playful banter, and Pooja even calls Chunky “funky aashiq.” The promo has been well-received by fans, who have praised Ananya and Chunky’s chemistry. They have also expressed their excitement for the release of Dream Girl 2, which is scheduled to hit theaters on August 25, 2023.
