Zee5 web series, Hutatma comes out as a dramatic re-creation of Maharashtrian pride

Directed by Jayprad Desai, Hutatma is all set to emerge as the new upcoming web series revolving around the real Maharastrian pride and honor. Reliving the honorary heroic battle fought for the beloved Bombay, the show will be going on air on May 1. This day is also celebrated as the International Labour day.

The ZEE5’s Hutatma ZEE5 has already released the teaser for this latest Marathi original, titled Hutatma. The series is planned to premiere on the Maharashtra Day celebrated on 1st May. The entire story of Hutatma revolves around the historical movement held in Mumbai, then called Bombay in the year 1955. This led to the announcement of Mumbai as an independent state, comprising of both, Gujarati and Marathi speaking population through the bails of Samyukta Maharashtra Movement. The prime aim of the movement was to create an independent state that consisted of Marathi speaking population. The series covers the complete unrest that emerged due to this absolute battle that led to creation of the individual state of Maharashtra with Bombay as its capital. Hutatma will highlight the struggles that the people of Maharashtra had been through in the battle of identity and soil for Bombay.

The show is created by Jayprad Desai ensembles the entire cast of star faces like- Vaibhav Tatwawaadi, Anjali Patil, Abhay Mahajan, Anand Ingale, Sachin Khedekar, Vikram Gokhale, Manoj Kolhatkar, and Kiran Khoje.
