The John Abraham starer movie was seen taking over the box office last Friday with a decent collection. Despite the limited promotions the film seemed doing well on the first and the second day as well. The film witnessed a ‘superb growth,’ after it collection around 4.85 crore on the first day and the second day witnessed a decent surge of around 7 crore. This gave a good total at the end of the second day as well. Keeping the same pace, the film went on to score high over the box office giving the movie a good boost on the first Sunday and thus gave a good collection at the first weekend as well.
The Sunday collection for the film went on to score around 10.25 crore. With this, the 1st weekend collection for Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran went on to score around 22.71 crore, which is a decent figure all together. The film managed to get a mixed review with some of the critics went on to give 4 while others even gave it 2 and 1.5 for the film. The movie deals with the success country’s nuclear programme held during the regime of Atal Bihari Vajpyee government in the leadership of the then ISRO chief APJ Abul Kalam. The film showcases the turmoil witnessed about the Nuke test in India.
After doing a decent business on its first weekend, the film is likely to perform better over the week days as well, which will is likely to do a better business in its first week as well. The experts and trade pundits are positive about the movie are looking for a decent total at the end of the first week. The film is likely to collect 15 to 20 crore before the end of the first week, which will go a long way. The solo release of the film has also helped the film to earn big over the box office.
