Parisar Asha conducted a free Seminar & Workshop on “Art of Learning for a Sustainable Tomorrow “ for Ahmedabad Educationists in association with Vivekanand Institute of Management

Parisar Asha conducted a free seminar and workshop on “Art of Learning for a Sustainable Tomorrow” for Ahmedabad Educationists in association with Vivekanand Institute of Management at IMA on 19th Dec’15. More than 50 educationists from different institutions attended this workshop to understand the importance of integrating creativity into mainstream education for joyful learning and how Parisar Asha has been successfully achieving the same through it internationally accepted model ESAL (Environmental Studies Approach to Learning).

All the participants were exposed to experiential learning where they got to experience the different mediums of creativity and how theatre, art, music and creative writing can be employed potent tools to strengthen the teaching-learning system.

Parisar Asha academic, theater and art experts conducted this workshop where the participants were also educated about the new trends in education and most importantly the need of the hour is to provide a system which is not only registered by the brain and the develops the mind but should be sensitive and logical enough to make an indelible impression on the soul.

One of the participant reiterated that, “The entire experience was completely new for her and she learnt a lot about how to deal with a child’s psyche.” “I liked the methodical representation of the curriculum and I found the ESAL methodology very unique”, added another enthusiastic participant. Participants were overwhelmed by these new discoveries and they showed inclination towards incorporating these in the regular teaching process for a sustainable tomorrow.
