Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s Kapil Sharma Show Shoot Interrupted After Raghav’s Mother Falls Ill on Set

Parineeti Chopra and politician Raghav Chadha, who got married in 2024, have kept a relatively low profile since their wedding. Nearly two years later, the couple was set to make their first joint appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show. However, according to a report by IANS, the shoot was abruptly cut short when Raghav’s mother fell ill during the filming, forcing the production to halt midway.

The report states that Raghav’s mother was present on set when she suddenly started shivering and was immediately taken to the hospital for medical care. The production team is now planning to work with Parineeti and Raghav to reschedule and complete the episode shoot. As of now, no further updates have been shared about her health.

Had the shoot gone smoothly, this would have marked the couple’s debut together on the popular comedy show, known for its star-studded guest list.

The Great Indian Kapil Show has previously featured a diverse range of celebrities such as Salman Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Ali Fazal, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, and many more from film, sports, and entertainment.

Parineeti Chopra was most recently seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Amar Singh Chamkila. She also has an upcoming Netflix series in the pipeline. Though untitled, the project features a strong ensemble cast including Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jennifer Winget, Harleen Sethi, Chaitannya Choudhry, Sumeet Vyas, and Anup Soni. Filming has wrapped up, but the official title and release date are yet to be announced.
