Pankaj Dheer is an TV and film actress who hails from Punjab. He did his schooling and college from Delhi and later shifted to Mumbai. He was born on 9th November 1956 in Punjab. Since his school and college days, he wanted to be an actor and hence headed to Mumbai to start his career in the acting field. He started his career with the film Sookhain the year 1983 followed by Mera Suhaag in 1987. He then appeared in Malayalam film Randam Varavu in the year 1990.
He then appeared in the silver screen Mahabharata in 1988–1990 playing the role of Karna. He then was seen in Saugandh. He then appeared in other films Sanam Bewafa, Sadak, Majboor Ladki, Mr. Bond, Jaagruti, The Great Maratha, Ashaant, Aashiq Awara, Kanoon (TV Series), Ikke Pe Ikka, Chandrakanta (TV series), Soldier, Harischandra (TV Series ), Yug (TV Series), Rishtey – The Love Stories, Baadshah, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge, Om, Andaaz, Zameen, Taarzan: The Wonder Car, and Vishnu Sena (Kannada).
He also worked in a couple of TV shows including Teen Bahuraaniyaan, Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat, Ek Safar Aisa Kabhi Socha Na Tha, Rang Badalti Odhni, Sasural Simar Ka, Jamnalal Dwivedi, Shobha Somnath Ki, Devon Ke Dev – Mahadev, Gippi, Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane (TV Series), Rishton Ka Saudagar – Baazigar, and Badho Bahu. He also directed on film called My Father Godfather in 2014. Talking about his personal life, he is married to Anita Dheer and has a child Nikitin Dheer.
