With the a huge success of the first season of the series Panchayat, there seems to be speculations that the makers are coming out with the second installment soon. Well, you heard it right, the makers are planning to embark with the second season as the leading man of the show Jitendra Kumar have confirmed about the same. The first season hit the digital platform on 3rd April 2020 and started streaming for eight episodes on the very same day making many the huge fans of the same.
Now, talking about the next season, it is expected to start from the very juncture when the first one has ended up. The first season has garnered a good buzz in the media in a big way. This made the makers to decide upon the next season. Both TVF and Amazon Prime have gained an overwhelming response to the first season that laid the foundation for the second installment. However, the makers are yet to officially announce the second installment, which is likely to come soon.
The story in the first installment dealt with a village, which creates all tantrums on issues of family planning and others. The second season is likely to have the stars from the first one which include Jitendra Kumar, Raghuvir Yadav, Chandan Roy, Faisal Malik, Biswapati Sarkar, Neena Gupta, Subend Chakraborty and Sushil Tondon to name a few.
