With the ongoing controversy of Sanjay Leela Bhansali film ‘Padmaavat’ starring Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone which will be finally releasing this Friday, Kalapi Nagada has a positive note on it.

When asked the producer about the controversial film and its effects he said, “Yes, it has benefited a lot and hence they have stopped publicizing on the film consciously. But at what cost it needs to be asked. This has costed a lot of things to a lot of people especially behind the scenes. Creativity is always challenged from this perspective. Yes, but it has helped people understand the films as people want to know about Padmavati or people will go to see the film to understand who Padmavati exactly is. Audience has definitely got converted into a positive note.”

Talking about the change in title, he added, “Its a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, we need not worry about what Padmaavat or Padmavati. It’s about the content, it’s about the director and more about the genre of the film. Most of the people who created controversy also didn’t know who Padmavati is till they got into it.”

Padmaavat is set to release this Friday and its reviews are already gaining appreciations.
