Ormax drops the list of 16 most popular Hindi TV programs this week, Anupamaa, Taarak Mehta tops the list
The list of most-liked Hindi TV series by Ormax is out, and it includes some fascinating developments based on viewer engagement between December 10-16. While TV series such as Anupamaa, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, and Bigg Boss 16 has led the list in terms of power ratings, other shows appear to be gaining traction.
Anupamaa, starring Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey, and the longest-running sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been audiences’ top choices on Indian television. Both shows received 71 power ratings, tying them for first place.
Salman Khan’s controversial reality program Bigg Boss 16, which has garnered 68 power ratings to grab the third slot, is not far behind. Inside the home, there have been many conflicts, fights, phony love angles, and friendships. Because of the three weeks of non-eviction, it has also become a topic of discussion among netizens. Because of its rising TRP ratings, the show has been extended till February.
With 68 points apiece, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Kaun Banega Crorepati 14 presented by megastar Amitabh Bachchan, and Indian Idol 13 judged by Vishal Dadlani, Neha Kakkar, and Himesh Reshammiya have secured the fourth, fifth, and sixth spots on the list.
Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, starring Ayesha Singh, Neil Bhatt, and Aishwarya Sharma Bhatt, has fallen to seventh place with 67 points despite being the audience favorite.
The Kapil Sharma Show, which has a star-studded cast that includes actresses Kiku Sharda, Sumona Chakravarti, Siddharth Sagar, and hosts Kapil Sharma and Archana Puran Singh, has dropped to the eighth position with 66 points.
Naagin 6, starring Tejaswi Prakash, has earned the ninth slot with 61 points, while Bhagya Lakshmi, starring Aishwarya Khare and Rohit Suchanti, has slipped into the top 10 list with 60 points.
