Patiala Babes’ Makers Extends Support to their Workers & Creative Team Despite Losses
The lockdown has severely affected the B Town along with the TV industry. Many films have been pushed ahead for its releases, while similar is the case in the small screen industry. This has led the workers and staff at the sets and TV shows to affect the most as they are not getting their salaries with virtually no work available in the town. But there are exceptions as a few production companies have come forward to extend their support to their workers and creative people.
As per reports, the Patiala Babses producers have come forward to help their workers and creative team in this tough time by giving them stipend. This will range from 10 to 25 k to not less than 60 team members in their production. Taking about the same, Rajita Sharma who is the writer and producer of the show has expressed her anguish over the conditions and felt bad as they are not able to showcase their TV show to their audience. She said the show is incomplete and remains to be told to the audience.
While talking about the same, she said that she is lucky to get the platform of Sony TV who are supporting in this cause making the help possible. She said the TV show Patiala Babes would remain close to her heart. She further said that the current lockdown would make things bad to worse making too many jobless. This is the reason why the makers of the show have decided to share their profits with their fellow workers who are working in different areas.
