In a recent update superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.
However no official details have been released and SRK’s condition is unknown.
This comes just days after he revealed that his next film, Jawan, will be directed by Atlee. He teased his bruised face wrapped in a bandage in a teaser. The film is set to be released in June 2023.
Speaking about the film, Shah Rukh Khan had said, “Jawan is a universal story that goes beyond languages, geographies and is for all to enjoy. Credit goes to Atlee for creating this unique film, which has also been a fantastic experience for me as I love action films! The teaser is the just tip of the iceberg and gives a glimpse into what’s to come.”
The poster looks impressive while Shah Rukh can be seen in a rather wounded look, wrapped up in bandages and a rustic backdrop to go with it. He captioned the poster, “It’s a special @redchilliesent project that has seen its wait because of inevitable issues surrounding us. But a few good men worked hard & made it happen. Want to thank @_gauravverma the Co-Producer, @atlee47, and their Jawans for making this dream come to life. Now… Good to go Chief…!”
Meanwhile, earlier in the day, it was reported that Katrina Kaif, had also tested positive for Covid but has since recovered. Aditya Roy Kapur also tested positive yesterday, affecting the promotional schedule for his upcoming film ‘Om: The Battle Within.’ With the rising number of COVID-19 cases in Mumbai, the BMC has issued new warnings to film studios in the K-West ward not to hold parties.
