Salman Khan’s films are always top grossers at the box office, and the same is expected from his upcoming film Tubelight. It is for the third time that filmmaker Kabir Khan and Salman have collaborated for a film, and with the last two films being super successful at the ticket windows, expectations are running high from Tubelight. Such has been the craze around this film that even before its release, Tubelight has already begun minting money. Buzz has it that Sony Music has acquired the music rights of Tubelight for a whopping Rs 20 crore.
Well, it is nothing new for a Salman Khan film, or any other big film featuring a top actor. But what makes this deal all the more interesting is the fact that unlike other films, Tubelight has only 3 songs. And if reports are to believed, they are not the contemporary lip-sync songs, but situation-based songs which will take the narrative forward. Earlier the music rights of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo were sold for Rs 17 crore.
It is for the first time that Salman will play a soldier in a film. Shot in beautiful locales of Leh and Manali, Tubelight also stars a Chinese actor Zhu Zhu. The film is releasing this Eid 2017, while it is directed by Kabir Khan. This will be Salman’s third movie with Kabir Khan as he has done a couple in the past as well. Stay tuned to know more about this film and other B Town movies.
