Just when Batla House is struggling on the box office despite a decent buzz, we see Mission Mangal going great guns in its collection. The film now has entered into the 100 Crore club in just five days of its release. The film on Tuesday entered the elite club of 100 Crore Club beating Batla House released on the same day with a big margin. The film from day 1 has been doing well at the box office with scoring around 24 Crores on the first day and it kept with similar figures at the box office.
So, on the fifth day the managed to enter into the 100 Crore club, while on the 6th Day, the collection went similar to Monday scoring around 7.50 Crores. With this, the total box office collection for Mission Mangal went to around 114.14 Crores. The film has been doing well in all the major states including the Gujarat, Maharashtra, Delhi NCR, UP, Goa and other places securing decent figures in its collection. On the other side, Batla House has remained just half in its collection when we compare it with Mission Mangal.
The film is based on the ISRO scientists and their efforts carried out for a special space mission known as Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM). The film has an ensemble star cast and it has drawn a decent amount of figures at the box office. Well, let’s see how things would move in the coming few days as many feel that the film has the potential of doing much better business than the previous movies of Akshay Kumar released the same year.
