OMG: Parineeti Chopra Removed As Brand Ambassador Of ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ Campaign for her Anti-CAA Tweet
The current Anti-CAA row seems to be costing all the celebs who are breaking up their silence. After Sushant Singh, the TV actor fired from his show – Savdhaan India, its now the Jabariya Jodi actress Parineeti Chopra who is facing the same after she tweeted against the CAA bill. The actress while tweeting on the issue expressed her concern on the barbaric role of Delhi Police on the Jamia students.
Soon after she tweeted she was sacked from the campaign ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ as a brand ambassador initiated by the Government of Haryana. She has been the brand ambassador of the said campaign for Haryana State. We have been knowing the actress to be very straight forward when it comes to expressing her views in public. She had worked on similar ventures and has been the brand ambassador till 2016 for the same and just of late she was picked up again for the said role.
Now, talking about her movies in B Town, she has a couple of films to release in the coming year. She has completed the shooting of the psychological thriller titled The Girl On The Train, which is based on a novel and a movie with Emily Blunt released in 2015. She is also busy doing a biopic made on the life of ace badminton player Saina Nehwal. Both her films would be releasing in 2020.
