OMG! Laal Singh Chaddha faces protest in Varanasi; to get banned in UP?
Laal Singh Chaddha was just released and it looks like the movie is in trouble yet again with a new controversial incident. Sanatan Rakshak Sena people in Varanasi raised opposition against Aamir’s film that was set to run in the theatre at Vijay Mall here today.
The protestors demanded everyone to boycott the movie, mentioning that Aamir and his wife feel insecure in our nation, so they should better release it outside of India. They also sent a written application request to the Station House Officer of Bhelupur later.
Chandraprakash Singh, state president of Sanatak Rakshak Sena Yuva Morcha, said, “We have come to protest against Aamir Khan. He makes fun of Hindu gods and goddesses and then earns money by making films on them. We demand that Bollywood should stop considering him an actor. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has requested to ban the film Lal Singh Chaddha in Uttar Pradesh. Our appeal to Sanatan Dharmis is not to watch Aamir Khan’s film and inspire others to do the same.”
Rita Bajaj, Mandal President of Sanatan Rakshak Sena, said, “We do not have a problem with the film Laal Singh Chaddha. We have a problem with Aamir Khan. The entire country should boycott Aamir. We Sanatan Dharmis will continue to raise our voices against him. My appeal to everyone is that no one should come to watch Aamir Khan’s film. “
The organisation has requested common people not to watch this movie because it will be an absolute waste of their valuable time and money. Not just this, they have also appealed to UP chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Ji to ban the movie in the entire Uttar Pradesh.
