OMG: Kamal Haasan takes a potshot at Aamir Khan

Aamirkhan kamalhaasan

Kamal Haasan is all set to take a new route with hosting the Tamil version of Bigg Boss. The show will be first aired on June 25, this year. At the press conference held recently in Chennai, Kamal said that he doesn’t feel the need of doing a show like Amir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate to prove he is socially responsible. He said, “I have been more socially responsible for long than the person who hosted Satyamev Jayate.” Talking about the show, “The show has a very wide reach. I don’t have to don an avatar this time. I can just be me, in my most natural self, and reach every household.”

Earlier, Kamal praised Salman for being such a sport on the sets of Bigg Boss. Haasan said, Salman genuinely bonds with the contestants on Bigg Boss. There is no pretension or patronizing in his attitude. Being friendly comes naturally to him. And he gives advice as a friend, not as a mentor. He added, “There is none of the I-know-better superiority in his attitude. I’d also like to bond genuinely with the contestants, though how it goes will depend entirely on how they perceive me, as a friend or as a mentor.”

Kamal also told an entertainment portal, “Yes, I am doing Bigg Boss in Tamil. I’ve tried many different roles in various capacities as an entertainer but never as a host on a television show. Reality television is so far not a reality in my career. I want to see what it feels like.” He also added that he finds it difficult to juggle between the schedules of Sabaash Naidu, Vishwaroopam and Bigg Boss.
