Just when we saw the first look of the gangster film – Mumbai Saga in social media, we now hear that the actor Jackie Shroff seen in the negative role has opted out from the film. Now, we have the latest update saying that the actor is now being replaced by Mahesh Manjrekar. As we know Mahesh has been the best actor when it comes to playing a variety of roles which certainly include the negative shade characters as well.
Besides, acting, he has been involved in other aspects of film making, which include direction, writing and producing movies. After his impressive show at the film Saaho, he is now back in Mumbai Saga by Sanjay Gupta. The role was earlier played by Jackie Shforss but with some dates mismatch, he had to opt out clearing ways for Mahesh who soon replaced him. He will play the Maha politician based in Mumbai in the said movie.
While talking about the same, Sanjay Gupta said that he is keen on working with Jackie, but with loads of mess up, he had to quit. He said he has always shared a good rapport with the actor that made him catch the star cast. He further said that he has worked with the actor for a couple of ventures in the past. Mahesh would be playing a politician of the early sixties, while the film will be produced under the banner of Bhushan Kumar – T-Series. The film remains the action crime film is known to have a good star cast including Emraan Hashmi, Kajal Aggarwal, John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, and Suniel Shetty.
