While talking about the award shows at the Neha Dhupia’s show called No Filter Neha, he went candid on various issues and talked about them making even a controversial statement calling all the award shows to be fake. Yes, you heard it right, the filmmaker Rohit claimed that he only visits the award shows where the organizers pay him handsomely. Further elaborating on it, he said if the organisers of the show ask him to host the show and pay him well he never minds visiting there.
While calling all the award shows to be fake, he compared the same with the TV shows where everything seemed to be fixed. He further said that he feels bad about the award shows and most of them barely give much credit to the commercial cinema. The Golmaal director said that people in commercial cinema also work hard and they should be also applauded for their work claimed the director. He further tagged award shows to be not less than a money-making opportunity for the actors and stars.
