It seems someone has cast a bad luck spell on Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The filmmaker is eagerly working on his upcoming Padmavati with Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. However, things are going haywire with the schedule. After battling the attack on Bhansali by Karni Sena in Rajasthan, and then setting the set on fire in Kolhapur episode, one more hurdle has come up that might leave the film’s schedule to be delayed.
As per the latest news is that Deepika is suffering from back ache and has been asked to take rest. On the same a source has been quoted by a publication saying, “She was suffering from acute pain when she arrived on set. Initially, she started reading her scenes and was going through her costumes. But as the day progressed, she started feeling more uncomfortable. The doctor on set advised her to rest for the next few days and avoid exertion. Her costumes are particularly heavy and she is currently in no state to be wearing them.”
Meanwhile, shooting is on with Shahid who plays Deepika’s husband Raja Rawal Ratan Singh. Bhansali and Shahid apparently understood the actress’s situation and continued shooting their parts. The actress is advised to rest for three days and follow a few neck exercises until she arrives back to work on Monday. Hopefully things turns back to normal and the shooting resumes for the film as much of the damage has been already caused for the film and now the makers really do not want to take any chances.
