Yes you heard it right and we claim to live in the largest democratic country where a group of people who disagree come out and give such statements debasing the country’s ethos and democratic values. We wonder which India are we living in 2017 when a film which was declared as fictional by the filmmaker and a movie which is being passed by the Censor Board seems to have become an object of hate in the society just because a group of people are not willing to accept it for their own vested interest. Unfortunately, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has to face a lot with his film, which is all set to hit the theatres next month.
Many have come out to support the film, while others tend to go against is giving even threats to chop away the nose of the lead actress in the film. The Karni Sena members have been in news for disturbing and damaging the sets since past few months. The have vandalised the sets, they have even slapped the filmmaker and have similar more things in the past to demean the movie and the people behind it. The Karnia Sena has left no stone unturned to keep the film distracted and the law and order seems to be lull.
On the other side, Deepika says she is only answerable to the Censor Board and not groups like Kaarni Sena. She called the incidents and the controversies as cheap methods to get publicity. While on the other side, the government in Maharasthra and the police on different states have assured that the film will get security and no one would be able to stop of create any issues. So, we expect the law and order to take its own course and stop the miscreants to create problems. What do you have to say about this, do let us know?
