Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan recently suffered a minor injury while shooting for his upcoming film ‘Project K’ in Hyderabad. The megastar broke his rib cartilage and even suffered a muscle tear seen over the right rib cage. He was rushed to the Hyderabad based hospital called AIG Hospital to consult a doctor and later also had a CT Scan, which revealed the same.
The actor took to his blog to inform his fans about the incident and assure them that he was doing fine as has returned home to Mumbai and is taking rest. All his shoots and other engagements have been cancelled till his recovery. Bachchan, who is known for performing his own stunts, had been shooting an action sequence for the film when he reportedly injured his hand. The actor was immediately attended to by the film’s medical team, and shooting was briefly halted to ensure that he received proper medical attention.
Despite the injury, Bachchan remained in high spirits and thanked the film’s director, Nag Ashwin, and the entire team for their professionalism and support. He also assured his fans that he was doing well and would be back on set soon. Project K’ is a highly anticipated film that stars Bachchan alongside some of the biggest names in the South Indian film industry, including Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani. The film is being directed by Nag Ashwin, who is known for his critically acclaimed film ‘Mahanati’.
