anurag

The popular filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has been often vocal about various social and political issues. He has often attacked the Ministers in the Union Government including Tweeting directly to Mr. Modi the Indian PM when his daughter was targetted with dire messages. On the issue of CAA he has been vocal and thus the attack on JNU Students on Sunday was not an exception.

As we saw many of the B Town divas and actors agitating against the JNU attack, Anurag Kashyap was not lagging behind either. Anurag was quick to share one photo of Mr. Amit Shah and Narendra Modi that has gone viral of late on the social media. While sharing his tweet he put the onus of the attack on Mr. Modi and Amit Shah by sharing the photos of the two with masks on their faces.

However, as he changed his DP putting the two men on the account, he was also trolled by a section of people who have been influenced by the right-wing groups. One of the users even said that the director should be arrested as he is making the PM responsible for the same. The user also said that if Delhi Police fails to take any action against some goons, then the director has no right to ridicule the PM or the Home Minister. The other user also questioned as to why not the Delhi Police acted against the goons and gave them a red carpet exit.

While there many who supported the director. One said, India has remained a peaceful and developing nation, those who ruin these fabrics should be taught a lesson. Someone then said that they need people like Anurag to dare speak the truth.
