The B Town superstar known as Aamir Khan and his wife, both seemed to be in danger zone as they diagnosed with the disease called swine flu. The Dangal actor and wife, Kiran Rao were scheduled to attend the event called Satyamev Jayate Water Cup, which was organized by their own NGO Paani Foundation, in Pune this Sunday but were able to only address the crowd via Skype. The actor said that he is happy to address the gathering but sad for not attending in person due to illness owing to the said disease.
In fact, the news broke out when he himself shared the same with the crowd. Though Kiran was seen smiling but Aamir was down. The couple has been undergoing with the treatment and hence they are not likely to visit any public place or remain with the people anymore. This is the reason why he was not there with the people. This is the reason why Aamir called SRK to fill the gap without his presence in the even. The others who joined along with Shah Rukh Khan include the film critic Anupama Chopra who is Kiran’s friend and others joined the show.
Both Aamir and his wife Kiran are the victims of Swine Flu hence they were not able to make their presence at the finale at Pune. Both were seen getting connected to event with the help of Skype and Sunday being the Friendship Day, hence he called Shah Rukh Khan to be the part of this event and prove his friendship with him. The film critic who also was present at the event said in her tweet, “Big props to Shah Rukh Khan for being at the event! Aamir Khan then said it was being the Friendship Day hence he asked his friend and asked him to take his place.
