OMG! A new season of the popular sitcom ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’ is in the pipeline
Fans of ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai‘ will rejoice! The next season of the popular show will begin airing soon. That’s right, you read that correctly. Producer JD Majethia indicated in a recent interview that ‘everyone is ready to extend their efforts and the brainstorming process is on’ for the new season. Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, starring Rupali Ganguly (Monisha Sarabhai) and Sumeet Raghavan (Sahil Sarabhai), Satish Shah, and Ratna Pathak Shah, was the most adored and popular television show.
JD Majethia told ETimes that they agree with fans that a new season is needed and that they will make the necessary steps. He was quoted saying, “I agree with fans. Ek aur season banna hi chahiye. We will make all the efforts. Everybody is ready to extend their efforts. Some more time is needed. People will have to wait a little bit. What the entire nation wants, we have to fulfill their wishes. We will put in extraordinary efforts. The thought process is on. We are figuring out how to manage. All the actors are busy. So we are figuring that out. Everybody is ready to extend their support.”
Sarabhai vs Sarabhai is a show directed by Deven Bhojani and written by Jamnadas Majethia and Aatish Kapadia about an upper-class Gujarati family, the Sarabhais, who live in a luxury apartment building and later in penthouses in South Mumbai. For two seasons, the popular sitcom aired on Star One from November 1, 2004, to April 16, 2006, then on Hotstar from May 15, 2017, to July 17, 2017. The show became a cult classic and was a huge hit with viewers.
