Official Announcement: Vadh Sequel in the Works as Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta Seek Blessings at Maha Kumbh Mela

Released in 2022, Vadh was a standout thriller that left audiences captivated with its gripping narrative and stellar performances by Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta. Now, producers Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg of Luv Films have officially announced a spiritual sequel, titled Vadh 2, which will reunite the talented duo under the direction of Jaspal Singh Sandhu.Building on the success of the first film, Vadh 2 promises to elevate the storytelling and performances that made its predecessor a fan favorite. To mark the beginning of this new journey, the cast and crew—including Sanjay Mishra, Neena Gupta, director Jaspal Singh Sandhu, and producer Ankur Garg—gathered at the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj to seek divine blessings.

In a spiritually charged ceremony, they participated in the sacred ritual of taking a dip at the Sangam Ghat, visited the Akshay Vat Temple, and offered prayers for the success of the film. Sanjay Mishra, who is also serving as the mascot “Cyber Baba” for the UP Police to raise awareness about cyber fraud during the Kumbh, led the team to these holy sites. This powerful moment infused the team’s creative journey with a sense of divine inspiration and set a positive tone for the production, which is currently underway in Bhopal, Mumbai, and Manali.
