The film written and directed by Anurag Kashyap reached Cannes wherein it managed to get a decent round of applauds from the audience and hence getting a good coverage in the international media. The man has managed to enter Directors’ Fortnight in five years, which is his third entry into this section giving away the positive reviews over the leading Hollywood trade papers, which publishes special daily editions over the Cannes Film Festival.
The movie along with its lead actors have earned critical praises here. The global daily called Screen International termed Raman Raghav 2.0 a bloodthirsty and propulsive thriller having brash use of music as jangling adrenalized energy are rare to find. The Hollywood Reporter simply called Nawazuddin Siddiqui to be the stellar performer. He was simply outstanding in his exceptionally scary performance in his demented and villainous demented serial called another media reports. He has worked with Anurag Kashyap with films like Gangs of Wasseypur 1 and 2 apart from giving incredible performances in films like The Lunchbox to other boxes.
