The director was traveling to Kolkata to catch the film festival in the city. While talking at the opening session of the festival he said he had to take this decision in solidarity for the comedian. He said when airline companies are appeasing the government by banning the comedian, then it’s his turn to show his solidarity towards the man who was banned for a silly reason and in an inappropriate fashion. Kunal on the other side then was seen taking a Vistara flight after being banned by the four Airlines.
