Reports had earlier suggested that the movie was supposed to get released last September 2014, but got postponed to first week of March. There are several reasons cited for this delay. NH10 had earlier hit roadblock, since the film makers were not able to get suitable release date. With this flick, the long legged beauty had turned producer. Anushka wanted to avoid back to back releases, since she had other movies that were scheduled to be released by that time like the blockbuster and mega movie with Aamir Khan ‘PK’ and the much awaited Bombay Velvet. But, she is said to have got into sticky situation with Kashyap had announced that his movie that starred Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka were to hit theaters in May.
It is for this reason that the famed Band Baaja Baaraat actor had grabbed recent headlines. However, lady love of Virat Kohli had finalized the release date for her latest venture NH10. While taking on an interview, she was asked as to why her first production venture has been taking sufficient time, to which she commented by saying that the delay was due to the fact that shooting had to be stopped in the middle since she was busy with Bombay Velvet and had few portions of PK remaining.
