The Family Man actor Priyamani’s husband Mustafa Raj’s first wife filed criminal charges against him, saying he is still married to her
The family man actress Priyamani got married to businessman Mustafa Raj. However, later it was reported that this is not Mustafa’s marriage. Now according to the reports Mustafa’s first wife, Ayesha, has filed a criminal case against Priyamani and Mustafa. According to her, Mustafa has not separated from her legally to date and hence his marriage with Priyamani is illegal.
Not only this but Ayesha has also filed a case of Domestic Violence against Mustafa.
Actress Priyamani and Mustafa got married in August 2017. The case is presently in the Magistrate Courts.
South star Priyamani recently got highly appreciated for her latest web show The Family Man which also starred Manoj Bajpayee and Samantha Akkineni. The show made her famous pan India.
Meanwhile, as per the reports, Mustafa Raj and Ayesha have two children. Although Mustafa said that this is an attempt at extortion, as he is providing child support.
He told a leading daily, “The charges against me are false. I am paying the children’s maintenance to Ayesha regularly. She is simply trying to extort money from me.” He even asked why she had waited this long to press the charges which also include domestic violence.
Ayesha said, “Mustafa is still married to me. Mustafa and Priyamani’s marriage is invalid. We have not even filed for divorce and while marrying Priyamani, he declared in the court that he was a bachelor.” As for the delay, she said, “As a mother of two children, what can you do? One tries to sort it out amicably but only when it doesn’t work out, some steps need to be taken because you don’t want to lose out on time which he has been using against me now.”
