While promoting the latest flick called Airlift, Akshay Kumar appealed to the audience to come out from their comfort zone and start showing some patriotism by catching up a film based on the true incidents of nineties. Talking about the role being taken forward by Air India and Indian National, he applauded the task being managed the best about the biggest ever human excavation in the gulf country. The film is simply a tribute to the heroes of that age who managed to carry out the biggest evacuation with great pain and professionalism.
Talking about the incident, he said he would play such roles of a hero rather than playing any character of a superhero. He said that the film based on superhero can be seen beating up thousand people at one time, but a real hero is much better than a superhero who secures and rescues the same amount of people with limited resource and but with high patriotism spirits.
