Netflix and Ministry of Tourism, India Launch ‘Flavours of India’ Campaign at ITB Berlin

At ITB Berlin, one of the world’s premier travel and tourism trade shows, streaming giant Netflix unveiled its new campaign celebrating India’s rich culture and culinary heritage. The launch featured two promotional videos—India’s Vibrant Culture, Festivals and Heritage and Flavours of India—officially introduced by Union Minister for Culture and Tourism, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.
Created in partnership with the government’s Incredible India tourism initiative, these videos showcase India’s cultural diversity, vibrant festivals, delectable cuisine, adventure tourism, wildlife, and breathtaking natural landscapes. The visuals feature iconic moments from Netflix’s Indian films and series released over the past decade. These two films are the first in a planned series of ten short promotional videos under this collaboration. The campaign aims to illustrate how cinematic storytelling can spotlight travel destinations and introduce global audiences to India’s multifaceted cultural experiences. This campaign also expands on Netflix’s recent partnership with India’s Ministry of Tourism, which seeks to weave travel destinations into Netflix India’s original content.
By aligning entertainment with tourism promotion, the initiative hopes to foster stronger cultural connections and elevate India’s presence on the international stage. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us and if you have anything to share do comment below and share your thoughts.
