Neha Kakkar welcomes Falguni Pathak to Indian Idol, despite the war of words
Neha Kakkar has come under fire from many people ever since she released her most recent single, Oh Sajna. The song is a version of Falguni Pathak‘s immensely popular song “Maine Payal Hai Chhankayi,” which people from the 1980s and 1990s still like and to which many fond memories are tied. The song “Oh Sajna” was categorically rejected by many people, and Kakkar was blamed for ruining it. Falguni Pathak responded to it in fury and even threatened to file a lawsuit, which she was unable to do because the music rights were not in her possession.
Neha Kakkar and Falguni Pathak were spotted sharing the stage and grinning together on the Indian Idol 13 sets after their highly publicized dispute over the song.
Neha Kakkar and Falguni Pathak could be seen sharing the stage in a video that Sony TV posted on their social media page. It was the first day of Navaratri, and as Falguni Pathak is considered to be the face of the festival, it seemed inevitable that she would appear on the programme. Neha Kakkar, who serves as one of the show’s judges, was also there. The festivities also got underway with Neha Kakkar presenting “famous” Falguni ji. The caption read, “Garba night with Falguni Pathak! Indian Idol ke manch par hogi! Indian Idol 13 is now playing in Theatre Round! Raat 8 baje, sirf Sony par! Iss Shanivaar aur Ravivaar!

Despite their differences, the two demonstrated their professionalism by treating one another with the utmost respect on the sets. The janta, however, was not content. “Shame on you falguni jii you did it simply to gain attention fully,” one person said in response. A different commenter said, “Song ko popular karvane ke liye kya kya karte hai yeh log…pehle social media par lad ke attention grab karte hai phir ek sath TV par perform karte hai. How do you feel, dear?
Falguni Pathak denigrated Neha Kakkar’s performance of her song in the remix. In a separate interview with ETimes, she added, “I only learned about the remixed version three to four days ago. The initial response was negative. Mujhe bas ulti aani baaki thi, aisa ho gaya tha, I thought.
