The film tells the story of Ashish, a young man isolated on an island in the backwaters of Kochi, India, following a childhood tragedy. Sheltered by his father at the age of 9, Ashish reaches 22 with limited knowledge of the world beyond his mother’s teachings and football idol, Messi.

“Stepping into this new chapter with Blue 52 has been like stepping into a different world,” Neha Dhupia said with a touch of awe. “Embracing a character so different from myself, grappling with her emotions, and navigating the cultural tapestry of this film has been truly magical. I believe it’s a story that will stay with audiences, and I’m honored to be a part of it.”
