Finally the new season of the popular game show – Kaun Banega Crorepati has hit the channel yesterday amidst all the buzz. The 12th edition seemed to have been well received by the audience and this year with COVID all around, the show has several changes in its format. Right with no live audience, to maintaining social distancing to doing several other things, the game show has many things new for the audience and the contestants. There is no audience poll lifeline.
We now see it getting replaced by a video to a friend, which has been introduced. As the first episode came in, we saw the first contestant of the new season in the form of Aarti Jagtap who was posed a couple of questions which included one question on the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput who died on 14th June. Aarti got the question from Big B asking her as to who was the co-star of the late actor Sushant in the recently released film Dil Bechara. To which Aarti was quick to answer it right saying Sanjana Sanghi.
She won 6.40 lakhs eventually with the answer. Big B has been taking care of the popular show for being the main host of the show. In order to adapt the social distancing norms, the makers of the show have made a couple of changes in the show. The sets are designed as per the norms and the contestants coming for the show are tested for COVID 19 as well before they enter and leave the city.
