When Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer film called Thackeray hit the screens in January this year the film turned a hit as far as performances of the actor is concerned. The film was produced by the Senior Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut and it was the biopic on the late Shiv Sena supremo Balasaheb Thackeray. However, when he announced about the biopic, he said the film would be made in two parts and hence the sequel was expected in the B Town.
Talking about why he planned the biopic in two segments he said that it is difficult for him to confine the aura and charisma of the film in a single movie. When the actor was offered the film he said it was a great responsibility on his shoulders but he was happy to do it with all his energy and enthusiam. Talking about the film, he said he always knew that the film was to be made in two parts and hence shelving the sequel was out of question.
He said he is in touch with Sanjay Raut and he informed that the script is being written and it would be completed soon to see the film hitting the floor soon. However, the actor did not gave any deadline to these things as he is said the makers being politicians were tied up with elections and now they would soon put back their focus on the film as things settle down. Hence the actor said it would take some time to take the things in a right shape. Siddiqui will be soon seen in a romantic comedy film called Motichoor Chaknachoor with Athiya Shetty. He is also in Bole Chudiyan, which is directed by his brother.
