Navjot Singh Sidhu all set to quit The Kapil Sharma Show, know why?
For The Kapil Sharma Show fans, there is a bad new though as the iconic laughter king of the show Navjot Singh Sidhu is all set to leave the show. The news was confirmed by Sidhu’s wife in the wake of upcoming elections in the coming future in the same. Sidhu who happens to be a former MP is now planning to take a big plunge in the state election. He has formed his new party called Awaz-e-Punjab and will return back to his home town Amritsar on 1st of October 2016.
The former cricketer’s wife said that since Sidhu wanted to focus on the state elections hence he has winded up from the show and has therefore recorded for the comedy show till September the last. He has been like a family to the star cast and has been with them since long facing ugly public spat for the team and himself as well. He has come a long way in his cricketing career between 1983 and 1999 though he announced his retirement but continued working as a cricket commentator.
Soon he turned a household name after joining The Kapil Sharma show which was aired at Sony with the title Comedy Nights With Kapil. And when the team quit the channel, Sidhu simply followed them who replaced with Mika Singh in the show. And now when Sidhu has resigned from the Rajya Sabha membership and announced his exit from BJP, he is all gearing up for the upcoming elections in the state.
