Vidya Balan Transforms As A Producer With Ronnie Screwvala’s Natkhat

vidya balan sizzling PicAfter a number of super hits delivered by Vidya Balan, the actress plans to take up a transformation in Bollywood. Soon, the actor will be plunging into the field of production with Ronnie Screwvala’s upcoming short film titled, Natkhat. The film is known to be a socially relevant and will be starring her in the lead. The film will be directed by Shaan Vyas, who is known to earlier produce films such as Masaan (2015) and Shahid (2012). However, no further details about the project have yet been unveiled yet.

Vidya took onto her Instagram account to announce the news of Natkhat.

Speaking about the project Vidya said on a media platform, “It’s a powerful story that called out to me in a way that made me want to act in it and also turn producer. And who better than RSVP to do it with! It explores the patriarchal imitation culture across India through innocence, relationships, and euphemisms, which have not been showcased on screen before.”

Vidya has last appeared in Krish’s two-part Telugu-language biopic titled as NTR: Kathanayakudu and N.T.R: Mahanayakudu. She is supposed to be next seen in Jagan Shakti’s Hindi sc-fi drama Mission Mangal. The film will be retelling India’s first-ever mission to Mars. It also stars a number of other famous faces including Taapsee Pannu, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Nithya Menen, and Kirti Kulhari, with Akshay Kumar, HG Dattatreya and Sharman Joshi.
