After Deepika Padukone relocated to Mumbai, the actor claimed to have dated her for two years. He said that although he was well-known at the time, things have changed since then. Muzammil added that everyone knew Deepika because she was the daughter of former badminton player Prakash Padukone, which made her a very self-assured girl. He added that they would speak at some point prior to Deepika being married.
“We were in a relationship for two years,” Muzammil stated in an interview with Siddharth Kannan. According to the actor, he was the first man Deepika met in Mumbai. “She was very confident because everyone knew about her because she is Prakash Padukone’s daughter,” he remarked. Muzammil disclosed that he was the one who ended the relationship after Deepkia asked him out.
